Power Outage

A power outage occured at our data centre, TeleCity, today (Sunday, 24 Sept). The Orbit8 server has thus gone down due to this outage.

Our service provider is standing by, ready to get Orbit8 going as soon at the centre has juice again. We'll keep you updated on the progress.

At this point there's nothing the Orbit8 crew can do but standby and wait for the centre to get its power again.

Welcome Students!

Every September the Orbit8 crew welcomes hundreds of American students who spend a semester studying in London. These students are from both Syracuse University and Ithaca College.

We're proud to provide these students with wireless Internet service and their connection back home. In return, they test Orbit8 Wireless service to the hilt, with music downloads, video messaging and video streaming. They've helped us find the best areas of improvement.

It's always a wonderful experience working with the American students each year. We wish them a successful and adventurous semester in London. And many chats with friends and family back in the States.
